About the Department
Department of Botany is established in1961 is one of the oldest department of this college. Department conducts U.G, P.G courses along with research(Ph.D) and certificate course. Department is recognized research centre 14 Research Students were awarded Ph.D degree and two Research students are working . Department is conducting self financed Certificate Couse “ Seed Health Testing ” for U.G & P.G. students science 2014 till date helps the students to understand the seed mycoflora and seed health. Department provides consultancy services for identification of plant diseases and soil analysis for NPK content of nearby villages. The department has well equipped laboratories with different types of instrument facilitate research activity for U.G & P.G.Students.
